Welcome to Team Kaka
Please read this as it has many small tips that could save you from being a target from low life and making your Crypto experience less than desirable.
Telegram channels These are your lifeline to the worldwide Gunbot team. There are a variety of channels in use for various aspects of what we do. Unfortunately, despite these being invite only there are scammers watching the channels and when someone asks for help on something one of these scum will PM you outside the channel masquerading as a reseller offering you help. This help is normally followed by a request for crypto payment. So it is a simple rule, Resellers or Gunthy admins will never PM you first, let alone ask for payment of any type. If someone does contact you first by PM it will be a scammer tell them to go play on the motorway.
Now you and I will have many interactions as you are moving forward on your journey, If I contact you and the contact does not have our previous chat history then it will be someone Masquerading as me. That is the first give away so please note chat history. There has been instances of these scum watching the channel and working out who are newbies and who are their resellers, and then masquerading as them. I will never ask for secret keys, payment for any support nor will I ever ask for any passwords or private details, please remember this key point.

API keys from time to time we need to pass these to get registration completed or sometimes it has been needed to re-register an API if an exchange does an API wipe. Now an API has two parts a Key which is a public bit and is OK to direct PM to me, and it has the second bit or the secret key. Do not ever send this to anyone or store it where it could be stolen. Do not email a secret key either. During registration you will need to pass me your key, (not your secret key}. Please ensure that is the only key you pass and I will say it again even if I ask for your secret key never send it as it won’t be me. Now please also remember that your API keys are in your Config file that may need to be checked or sent from time to time. By default they are encrypted in this file but I always encourage people to remove them completely before sending or posting a config file. If you don’t know what a config file is no problem this will be covered in Gunbot School or I can help you.

Now please don’t get paranoid about this, the message above does seem dramatic but for the first few weeks as you find your way in this great adventure it is important to practice good internet security and be aware of the above points. So far I haven’t had anyone targeted to date and via awareness I want to keep it that way.
My rule of thumb is if you start having a slight doubt something is not right it normally isn’t, follow your instinct and call or PM me for guidance if in any doubt at all.

Stay safe this is an amazing world let’s live it to the fullest and make some money!
